摘要: This paper sheds light on the role of non-governmental/civil society organisations, as well United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, in externalisation migration management Tunisia and Egypt. These organisations are involved migration-related activities, which, from perspective, should prevent people attempting sea-crossing to Europe, thus immobilising them North Africa. The is an ethnographic border regime analysis drawing extensive fieldwork. It shows that European Union-externalisation not a univocal smooth process. Instead, entangled complex network actors dynamics. Measures meant support may produce effects contrary those envisaged, whereas practices accomplishing goals be fact result internalisation.
