摘要: Abstract Using a simple stimulus counting task, negative after-waves following single (unpaired) stimuli were investigated under variety of conditions. Responses obtained to tones at 3 intensities, light flashes and rates presentation. The acoustic led after-wave that peaked frontal sites around 500 or 600 msec, then trailed off more central scalp representation. This was increased in amplitude by slowing the rate In comparison, no appreciable sustained elicited visual stimuli. No significant effects associated with intensity, either for When analyzed Principal Components Analysis, shown comprise all cases two underlying factors, although factors contributed less total wave form than Two interpretations contrasted, one considering it be an integral feature auditory evoked potential. A second interpretation, compatible data here, links non-specific activation processes.
