摘要: Objectives The aim of this study was to assess the accuracy detecting and measuring buccal bone thickness (BBT) adjacent titanium implants in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. Study Design Titanium (1, 2, or 3), abutments, metal–ceramic crowns were inserted into 40 blocks with various BBTs. CBCT images acquired settings: Voxel sizes (0.2 0.13 mm) reconstruction section thicknesses (2.0 5.0 assessed by 3 examiners. True BBT measured digital photographs blocks. Buccal detection evaluated sensitivity specificity. 1-way analysis variance (ANOVA) between true measurements calculating difference measurement (Di-BBT). Results Detection exhibited high (0.86–1) low specificity (0.14–1). More field view, large voxel size, thick image sections had a negative impact on detection. ANOVA showed statistically significantly larger for all settings (1.07–1.21 compared (0.85 mm). Di-BBT mostly within 0.5 mm. Conclusions is overestimated when cross-sectional
