摘要: This paper reviews the evolution of trading structures by examining two pertinent strands in literature on economics with interacting agents, one, works that presume a specified topology interactions among and two, let random mechanisms determine topology. The papr interactive discrete choice models isotropic settings proposes extensions within certain stylized anisotopic which are particularly interesting for economists. In particular, circular patterns interaction highlight role money credit; tree-type depict Walrasian interactions. suggests approach, as employed analyses sizes gorups thus exploit full range possible topological properties structures. an integration those approaches is intended to their natural complementaries. simplest version, our sythesis involves individual decisions expectations, randomness, nature combinng fix initial "primordial" interaction. dynamics move economy from then on. depends criticlaly upon multiplicity stability equilibrium configurations model. addresses number additional topics, including matching models, spatial aspects issues statistical inference.
