摘要: A worm-shape or screw-shape hone, for honing gear teeth, has the tooth profile of basic rack at its normal plane. The hone is formed by molding synthetic polymers in which there are dispersed abrasive particles, to provide a Shore hardness 15* - 75* and Young''s modulus 0.5 70 X 103 kg/cm2. engaged with be finished rotated motor driving gear. During gear, fed parallel axis trace over whole face width polymer material may comprise cocured blend polyurethane rubber epoxy resin having suitable flexibility, good resiliency high abrasion resistance, particles alundum carborundum, being exposed working surface hone.
