摘要: Spiral and antispiral waves are studied numerically in two examples of oscillatory reaction-diffusion media analytically the corresponding complex Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGLE). We argue that both these structures sources media, which distinguished only by sign phase velocity emitted waves. Using known analytical results CGLE, we obtain a criterion for CGLE coefficients predicts whether antispirals or spirals will occur systems. apply this to FitzHugh-Nagumo Brusselator models deriving near Hopf bifurcations respective equations. Numerical simulations full equations confirm validity our simple onset oscillations. They also reveal often turn into further away from it. The transition is characterized divergence wavelength.
