摘要: A Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly (PASE) was evaluated in a sample of community-dwelling, older adults. Respondents were randomly assigned to complete PASE by mail or telephone before after home visit assessment. Item weights derived regressing physical activity principal component score on responses PASE. The based 3-day motion sensor counts, dairy and global self-assessment. Test-retest reliability, assessed over 3-7 week interval, 0.75 (95% CI = 0.69-0.80). Reliability administration (r 0.84) higher than 0.68). Construct validity established correlating scores with health status physiologic measures. As hypothesized, positively associated grip strength 0.37), static balance +0.33), leg 0.25) negatively correlated resting heart rate -0.13), age -0.34) perceived -0.34); overall Sickness Impact Profile -0.42). is brief, easily scored, reliable valid instrument assessment epidemiologic studies people.
