摘要: The specific treatment goals for a pressure ulcer involve variety of modalities aimed at improving the local wound environment and promoting healing. A key component in healing is maintaining moist environment. Moisture occlusive dressings can be divided into broad categories polymer films, foams, hydrogels, hydrocolloids, alginates, biomembranes. Advanced are demonstrably more effective than traditional gauze dressings. Head-to-head comparison various advanced has not demonstrated any single superior product. Therefore, most treatments should chosen on basis characteristics, ease use, cost. Because slow healing, number adjunctive have been tried management ulcers. Few high-quality trials available, but produced remarkable benefits. Wound debridement necessary clinically infected wounds, usefulness serial disputable. Surgical closure depends patient age comorbid conditions, general shown high recurrence rate.
