摘要: The infinite layer or parent compounds ACuO{sub 2} (A: Ca-Sr-Ba) constitute the simplest copper oxygen perovskites that contain CuO{sub sheets essential for superconductivity. stabilization of these basic ``building blocks`` as epitaxial films, therefore, provides alluring opportunities towards search new superconducting and elucidation underlying mechanisms. In this work, general trends defect formation carrier doping films intermediate endmember SrCuO{sub are reviewed. First results presented from successful attempts to induce hole-doped superconductivity via processing-controlled incorporation charge reservoir layers.
