摘要: PURPOSE: Whereas gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain are common in children suffering from the so-called post-diarrheal form (D+) of hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), more serious complications rare. We tried to define factors predictive severity post D+ HUS. METHODS: reviewed files all admitted our hospital for HUS between 1988 2000. retained those cases with analyzed consequences these on evolution children's conditions. RESULTS: Sixty-five were during this period. Sixteen developed involving one or digestive organs: necrosis colon ileum, hemorrhagic colitis, pancreatitis, transient diabetes, hepatic cytolysis cholestasis, peritonitis prolapse rectum.
