摘要: Translocation of wild ungulates is a common wildlife management tool and an integral component game farming activities throughout the world. Elk (Cervus elaphus) are primary species being moved, possibility translocating hazardous parasite led us to examine potential for elk survive infections meningeal worm (Parelaphostrongylus tenuis), shed larvae in feces, thus, translocate parasite. Twenty-six calves were exposed 15-300 infective worm. All 13 >125 developed neurologic disease died; 2 feces prior death
