摘要: This chapter is concerned with the issue of user fees (or charges) for public health services. We discuss implications cost-eectiveness, alloca- tive e¢ ciency, equity, progressivity care spending, and quality service. Each these a desirable end in itself, so each an important factor optimal pricing decision. They are not always compatible other, however. Furthermore, they all have to be …nanced from single, typically constrained, budget.
