摘要: The complete genome of the German isolate AC Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV) was sequenced. It encodes two overlapping open reading frames (ORFs), similarly to previously described ASGV isolates. Two regions high variability were detected between isolates, variable region 1 (V1, from amino acids (aa) 532 570), and 2 (V2, aa 1,583 1,868). phylogenetic analysis V1 V2 suggested that diversity structured by host plant species rather than geographical origin. dN/dS ratio nonsynonymous synonymous nucleotide substitution rates varied greatly along genome. Most ORF1 showed predominant negative selection except for V2. an elevated dN average dS when compared background but no significant positive detected. a low with ≈ 3.0 indicative selection. However, area includes ORFs, making estimate biased. Joint estimates intensity in different ORFs recent method indicated this fact evolving close neutrality. This convergent previous results showing introduction stop codons did not impair infection. These data suggest elimination codon caused overprinting novel coding over ancestral ORF.
