摘要: Cobalt-doped ZnTe (Co:ZnTe) polycrystalline powders with different Co concentrations (0%, 3%, 5% and 8%) are prepared by solid state reaction method an aim to study their dilute magnetic semiconducting behaviour. The effect of doping on the structural, optical properties synthesized samples investigated. phase crystallinity Co:ZnTe studied through X-ray diffraction Raman spectroscopy. surface morphology has been analysed scanning electron microscopy. chemical environment dopant in host lattice is photoelectron optoelectronic powder evaluated diffuse reflectance spectroscopy photoluminescence ferromagnetic behaviour investigated at room temperature vibrating sample magnetometer. origin magnetism ideal bulk system ab initio density functional theory.
