摘要: The purpose of the study was to assess reliability mydriatic 60 degrees fundus photography in a retinopathy screening programme for Type 2 diabetic patients primary health care setting. In 323 eligible consecutive above 40 years age, attending regional shared diabetes project, wide angle compared with standardized fundoscopy dilated pupils as recommended test detection retinopathy. Fundus included two black and white transparencies per eye visualizing central nasal retinal field. Fundoscopy findings pictures were scored according modified Wisconsin criteria. revealed 95/646 eyes (14.7%) some degree Sensitivity specificity (omitting ungradable transparencies) 97% diagnosis any (DRP). All moderate severe DRP (Wisconsin grade 3 worse) detected by photography. conclusion, photography, making eye, can be applied effectively reliably diabetes.
