摘要: Numerous evidences have alerted on the toxic effects of exposure to glyphosate living organisms. Glyphosate is herbicide most used in crops such as maize and soybean worldwide, which implies that several non-target species are at a high risk exposure. Although Environmental Protection Agency (EPA-USA) has reaffirmed safe for users, there controversial studies question this statement. Some reported due doses; however, recent shown low doses could also alter development female reproductive tract, with consequences fertility. Different animal models or glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs) tract may be related potential and/or mechanisms actions an endocrine-disrupting compound. Studies demonstrated GBHs alters differentiation ovarian follicles uterus, affecting fertility when animals exposed before puberty. In addition, during gestation offspring (F1 F2). The main mechanism described associated effect modulation estrogen receptors molecules involved estrogenic pathways. This review summarizes "environmentally relevant" tissues. Data suggesting that, doses, adverse discussed.
