摘要: The noise of supersonic jets issued from choked or convergent-divergent nozzles is a subject considerable current interest. When these are operated at off-design pressure ratios, measured spectra invariably show that they made up discrete and broadband components. tones screech components believed to be generated by an acoustic feedback phenomenon. One notable feature the frequencies same in all directions. have dominant which usually higher than fundamental tone range over several octave bands. At present time, based on experimental theoretical grounds, generally further subdivided into two each possessing distinctly different characteristics. These referred as turbulent mixing shock associated simply noise. general consensus appears former directly turbulence jet flow while latter produced unsteady interaction between quasi-periodic cell structure jet. primary objective this paper quite restricted.
