摘要: The metabolic fate of translation initiation factor after inhibition protein synthesis by different means has been investigated. We have found a decay in activity when is blocked chloramphenicol but not during arginine starvation PA1 (Rel−) or PA2 (Rel+) strains puromycin incubation. These results suggest that inactivation certain factors occurs the regeneration ribosomal subunits from polysomes inhibited cells.
