摘要: Abstract This study investigated differences in EEG between gifted individuals (mean IQ = 132) and average 101) resting conditions while solving different tasks. Gifted students solved tasks representing processing speed, working memory, arithmetic operations, proportional, deductive inductive reasoning. α-power Kolmogorov entropy measures indicating low deterministic chaos were analysed. In no significant observed. during problem displayed higher α power (less mental activity) than did individuals. The most pronounced over the frontal brain areas for involving memory operations. Less obtained using non-linear measure. showed lower entropy, less complex neural mass activity when operations results suggest that individuals, comparison with ones, more efficiently activated task-relevant areas.
