摘要: The pancreas is a vertebrate-specific organ of endodermal origin which responsible for production digestive enzymes and hormones involved in regulating glucose homeostasis, particular insulin, deficiency results diabetes. Basic research on the genetic molecular pathways formation function has gained major importance development regenerative medical approaches aimed at improving diabetes treatment. Among different model organisms that are currently used to elucidate basic regeneration, zebrafish distinguished by its unique opportunities combine pharmacological with sophisticated live-imaging methodology, ability regenerate within short time. Here we review current perspectives present methods studying two important processes contributing namely cell migration via time-lapse micropscopy proliferation incorporation nucleotide analog EdU, focus insulin-producing beta cells islet.
