Magnetohydrodynamic natural convection flow in a vertical micro-porous-channel in the presence of induced magnetic field

摘要: Abstract In this work, the exact solution for fully developed magnetohydrodynamic natural convection flow of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in vertical micro-porous-channel formed by non-conducting infinite parallel porous plates presence induced magnetic field is investigated. Effects velocity slip and temperature jump conditions are taken into account due to their counter effects both on volume rate heat transfer. The governing coupled equations responsible present physical situation a set simultaneous ordinary differential solutions dimensionless form have been obtained field, subject relevant boundary conditions. expressions current density skin friction at surfaces also obtained. A parametric study some parameters conducted representative numerical results temperature, density, illustrated graphically show interesting features suction/injection, rarefaction, wall interaction, Hartmann number Prandtl number. Result reveals that, fixed value number, frictions higher compared case when neglected.
