Optimization of Redox and Catalytic Performance of LaFeO 3 Perovskites: Synthesis and Physicochemical Properties

摘要: La1−xCexFeO3 perovskites were synthesized through a citric-acid assisted co-precipitation process. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray analysis, thermogravimetric UV/Vis absorption spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared photoelectron and an N2-adsorption–desorption technique applied for characterization of the perovskites. The analysis exhibited highly purified single-phase orthorhombic nanocrystals. loading Ce improved specific surface area affects thermal stability along with O2 desorption characteristics. BET textural high concentration Ce-ion-doped LaFeO3 perovskite revealed relatively respect to low doped perovskites, indicating homogeneous dispersion ions within crystal matrix. oxidation states trivalent La, Fe, O, C in all identified XPS study. redox behavior was examined using temperature program reduction/oxidation techniques. La0.95Ce0.05FeO3 best redox, catalytic, reusability performances among prepared catalysts, as by TPR/TPO, BET, catalytic activity analyses.
