Effect of deposition time on the Cd 0.8 Zn 0.2 S thin films

摘要: Nanocrystalline Cd 0.8 Zn 0.2 S thin films were prepared by chemical-bath-deposited method and the effect of time on properties was studied. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns show that synthesized have a cubical (zinc blende) phase. mean crystallite size internal lattice strain calculated. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies showed surface roughness increase with increasing thickness. optical constants determined analysis result direct transition values energy gap indicates quantum confinement effect.
