摘要: Abstract Coastal sediments are important hosts for pollutant trace metals, but analytical difficulties can prevent them being included in routine environmental monitoring programmes. In order to identify a suitable approach the problem, an established simple technique has been evaluated initial assessment of metal pollution coastal sediments. The technique, which involves leaching samples with cold 0.5 N HCl, applied surface from two Greek gulfs and shown provide rapid, inexpensive way initially establishing gross degree sediment population subjected overlying waters.
