摘要: The seasonal variation and vertical distribution of leaf area index are important characteristics forest stands their structure, not in the least for modelling assessing biogeochemical biogeophysical processes. In this paper results presented from 2 years' measurements with Li-Cor LAI-2000 Plant Canopy Analyser south-eastern part Bulgarian Black Sea coast, where Quercus frainetto well represented but so far little studied. Mixed Fagus orientalis polycarpa were also Q. effective values (one-sided) ranged 1.43 to 3.21 maximum June. Several F. + coastal zone studied extensively shown follow at an intensive-measurements site, increase by 39.6% 45.5% June, respectively, related April values. profile canopy site is destructive compared data. Data show that most leaves located close middle tree height (at around 40% it). analysis suggests a good representative region, can provide sufficiently information further mapping its leaf-area characteristics.
