Endometriosis: Associations with Menorrhagia, Infertility and Oral Contraceptives

摘要: In a retrospective study of 163 women with endometriosis, 76% had history menorrhagia, larger percentage than that which might be normally expected. Only 10% the complained infertility, while 13% used oral contraceptives regularly, much smaller proportion These findings are discussed in terms pathogenesis endometriosis and possible prophylactic role contraceptives. The authors suggest possibility increased sensitivity to estrogens may lead development some women.
