摘要: Abstract It is known that the highly conducting geomagnetic field flux tube and quasitrapped energetic particles provide strong electrodynamic coupling between magnetically conjugated regions in ionosphere. Such a connection likely to cause ionospheric disturbances before pending earthquake not only over epicentral zone but also opposite hemisphere. Data from INTERCOSMOS-18 ALOUETTE satellites were analyzed this point of view. Earthquake precursors magnetically-conjugated ionosphere found very low frequency (VLF) emission F2-peak parameters. F2-precursors appear some days earthquake, manifest themselves as an Appleton-type anomaly if epicenter future situated near magnetic equator. Estimation electric magnitude necessary generate observed was made. shown less than one mV/m must be generated VLF appearance hours localized close shell corresponding have belt-like structure (longitudealigned for more tens thousands kilometers) both hemispheres. are followed by particle (electrons energy W>40 keV) precipitation.
