摘要: We develop a general downlink model for multi-antenna heterogeneous cellular networks (HetNets), where base stations (BSs) across tiers may differ in terms of transmit power, target signal-to-interference-ratio (SIR), deployment density, number antennas and the type transmission. In particular, we consider compare space division multiple access (SDMA), single user beamforming (SU-BF), baseline single-input single-output (SISO) For this model, main contributions are: (i) ordering results both coverage probability per rate closed form any BS distribution three considered techniques, using novel tools from stochastic orders, (ii) upper bounds on assuming Poisson distribution, (iii) comparison area spectral efficiency (ASE). The analysis concretely demonstrates, example, that given total network, it is preferable to spread them many single-antenna BSs vs. fewer BSs. Another observation SU-BF provides higher data than SDMA, but SDMA some cases better ASE.
