摘要: The refined theory for moderately thick plates presented in references is used the bending of on elastic foundations. This incorporates transverse normal strain effect addition to shear and stress effects. Investigation various types fixity edges involving three boundary conditions presented. solution governing equations using Navier Levy type semi-inverse methods demonstrated. Results are tabulated deflection at center a uniformly loaded, simply-supported rectangular plate. Applications also include an infinite plate with line load intensity P. Comparisons made classical corresponding Reissner theory. results show increasing influence behavior as parameters characterizing thickness, h/a, modulus k increased.
