摘要: The seasonal distribution of Cladocera and Copepoda in the Holon Rainpool near Tel-Aviv, Israel, was studied. Plankton also collected from 16 other rainpools along coastal plain Israel compared with plankton Pool. Environmental factors, such as water depth, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH alkalinity were recorded weekly at interaction temperature depth is discussed; a temporary thermal stratification occurs this shallow rainpool. Daily well fluctuations pH, oxygen are described discussed. A positive correlation found between total density Diaptomus wierzejskii. succession species during two seasons described, appears to be fairly constant. New localities for Alona elegans, Hemidiaptomus gurneyi Acanthocyclops bicuspidatus recorded.
