UV and blue upconversion in Tm3+-doped fluoroaluminate glass by 0.655 μm excitation

摘要: Abstract Intense upconversion fluorescence could be observed in the UV and blue region Tm 3+ -doped fluoroaluminate glass system AlF 2 CaF BaF YF 3 TmF by single wavelength pumping with a DCM-dye laser at pump powers less than found that dependences of intensity on incident excitation power were quadratic both for 0.36 0.45 μm emission, which originates from 1 D 0.48 emission G 4 , respectively, indicating presence two step mechanisms.
