摘要: A resonant ultrasound technique has been applied to detect cracks in steel spherical rollers. Combining theoretical calculations with RUS measurements, rollers provided by a commercial source various dimensions and aspect ratios were studied. As result, correlations between ratio deformation type for some modes established. Empirical relationships specific also obtained, which frequencies of torsional, disk bending, cylinder bending can be predicted from the ratios. Hence, testing frequency ranges given roller determined depending on defects that need detected.
