摘要: Physicochemical data of diluted pepsin solutions have been estimated in function the pH. Below pH 5, 5 (native pepsin), and range 7-10 (denatured pepsin) appear homogeneous ultracentrifuge. In 6,25-7, are heterogeneous, and, this is due to hydrolysis denatured by still active native pepsin. Hydrodynamical properties, S, D [η] calculated for completely pepsin. Molecular weights Svedberg equation agree at 2, 7,2-8,3 (27.000). Light scattering studies give a molecular weight 35.000 2,55 KCl 0,15 M. four components system higher than values C/τ too small indicating aggregation or strong electro-static interactions. The observed increase decrease S samples t swelling molecule. Moreover it confirmed that difficult estimate axial ratio hydration. Finally, lowering discussed on basis sedimentation turbidity measurements.
