摘要: Summary Mammary phyllodes tumours (PTs) are rare fibroepithelial neoplasms of the breast. They have a propensity to recur locally and ability metastasise. There is some correlation between histological parameters PTs their biological behaviour; however, no single feature or grading scheme can accurately predict behaviour PT. The that will and/or metastasise not being precisely delineated with currently available diagnostic tools. A number pathways/markers been implicated in pathogenesis including hormone receptors, members Wnt pathway, cell cycle proteins, factors involved angiogenesis, tyrosine kinase receptors matrix metalloproteases. evidence supports model where initiation involves interactions epithelium stroma these lost progression malignancy such growth becomes autonomous epithelium. Loss stromal-epithelial interdependancy, increased stromal proliferation, angiogenesis alterations appear be malignancy.
