Brillouin scattering in single crystals of plastic cyclohexane

摘要: The technique of high resolution Brillouin spectroscopy has been used to determine the adiabatic elastic constants oriented single crystals plastic cyclohexane for temperatures near and at triple point. values obtained 279.2 K were c11 =2.8(57), c12=2.4(72), c44=0.35(8) (in units 109 N m−2) with an estimated uncertainty ±2%. There is evidence occurrence considerable dispersion in solid, especially
