摘要: The methods for preparation of colloidal dispersions consisting exceedingly uniform particles hydrous oxides a number metals are described. Some the sols contain spherical amorphous particles, while others well crystallized submicronic or micronic solids different morphologies. These novel systems have been used to establish chemical mechanisms metal (hydrous) formation and growth. Various properties such (surface charge, magnetism, color, etc.) illustrated, their use in studies interactions with solutes (adsorption), other particulate matter (heterocoagulation), surfaces materials (adhesion) discussed.
