The Ethnoecology of Maize Variety Management: A Case Study from Mexico

摘要: This paper presents a case study of the relationship between farmers' knowledge maize varieties and their selection management these under conditions technological change. Research for this was done among Spanish-speaking small farmers in an ejidoof central Chiapas, Mexico. ejido is well integrated into market, use modem technologies widespread. research demonstrates that have extensive widely shared varieties. reflects objective characteristics.
