摘要: In this paper from the Transitions and Risk: New Directions in Social Policy conference, JaneMaree Maher Jo Lindsay argue that employed mothers may be best characterised as working 'permanent' transitional labour markets. They suggest women constructing new flexible models of mothering employment focus on skills, tasks, time management response to inflexible social institutions. But these work strategies mask entrenched resistance governments employers really supporting employment.
