摘要: Abstract Background: Many nosocomial infection outbreaks have been linked to improper disinfection of the flexible endoscopes used in hospitals and clinics. The objective this study was evaluate efficacy scope with glutaraldehyde hydrogen peroxide manual mechanical protocols. Methods: Bacillus subtilis Pseudomonas cepacia were test organisms. Each channel two different seeded evaluated separately. Residual chemical germicide levels channels work environment also measured. Results: Parametric analyses carried out on log transformations number colony-forming units recovered. Repeated measures analysis demonstrated that both type disinfectant method washing significant factors for disinfection. Conclusions: Hydrogen proved be more efficacious than killing or removing B. a 10-minute contact period. Automatic being disinfected factor, carbon dioxide elevator most difficult disinfect consistently.
