摘要: Nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT)-based assays provide fast and sensitive results compared to conventional TB tests. The performance of the new Abbott Molecular MTB assay for qualitative detection complex using automated m2000™ system or manual sample preparation is summarized in this paper. detects eight subspecies. observed limit (LOD) when used an H37Rv panel was 2.45 colony forming units (cfu)/mL, while claimed LOD with strain 17 cfu/mL. No cross reactivity, carryover were study. clinical sensitivity 93% overall; 99% smear positive, culture positive specimens, 81% negative, samples. specificity 97%. inhibition rate study 0.34%. data suggest that RealTime a reliable, robust molecular MTB.
