摘要: Abstract The origin of complex organic molecules such as amino acids and their precursors found in meteorites comets is unknown. Previous studies have accounted for the inventory Solar System by aqueous chemistry on warm meteoritic parent bodies, or accretion organics formed interstellar medium. This paper proposes a third possibility: that were created situ ultraviolet light from nearby O/B stars irradiating ices already Sun’s protoplanetary disk. If Sun was born dense cluster near UV-bright stars, flux hitting disk external could be many orders magnitude higher than alone. Such photolysis laboratory can rapidly produce acid other molecules. I present simple model coupling grain growth UV exposure young circumstellar It shown production may sufficient to create System’s entire within 106 yr. Subsequent alteration bodies not ruled out.
