摘要: ABSTRACT User- and eco-friendly approaches to manage immature stages of mosquitoes are urgently needed in order minimize the undesirable impact synthetic pesticides on nature mankind. Plant-derived considered as user- environmental friendly. In this study, attempts have been made develop water dispersible tablet (WT), containing neem (Azadirachta indica) oil a mosquitocide. The dispersion with concentration 40 mg/L exhibited 98% mortality against third instars larvae Anopheles culicifacies followed by residual effect upto sixth week. Ovicidal freshly laid eggs were observed. Oviposition deterrent activity suspension was also assessed, which showed reduction egg laying gravid female 89%. found be non-toxic non-target fish, Poecilia reticulate.
