摘要: Abstract : This research investigates ways to augment human plan reasoning capabilities in command and control tasks, such as logistics planning, crisis management situation assessment. The goal was avoid making the simplifying assumptions made traditional planning that prevented effective human-computer collaborative planning. Specifically, no were relative goals being well specified beginning, or evaluation criteria can be precisely defined a quantitative manner. groundwork laid for mixed-initiative through development of TRIPS (The Rochester Interactive Planning System), robust speech-driven mixed initiative system, which has been installed at Global Infotech Washington DC Command Post Future (CPOF) jumpstart demonstration Air Force Research Lab Rome, New York. runs stand-alone without researchers present. Theoretical techniques speeding up well-founded domain-independent planners also developed. In addition, simulation data mining find improvements large-scale plans could not reasoned about using developed demonstrated.
