摘要: Metal ions often influence the photoswitching efficiency of a photochromic system. This article reports one-dimensional polymer having cyclic azobenzenes coordinated to silver that are bridged by nitrates. The coordination (CP-2) displays photoresponsive behavior. switching ability in form was faster compared parent azobenzene ligand without metal ions. Azobenzenes reported be poorly conducting. Here, although does not show significant electronic mobility, modest conductivity. conductance cis is significantly higher trans form. Upon exposure visible light, undergoes photoisomerization with drastic drop mobility. can reverted thermally or using UV light. Thus, this system offers reversible control conductivity
