摘要: The Virtual Reality user interface style allows the to manipulate virtual objects in a 3D environment using input devices. This is best suited application areas where traditional two dimensional styles fall short, but current programming effort required produce VR somewhat large. We have built toolkit called MR, which facilitates development of applications. provides support for distributed computing, head-mounted displays, room geometry, performance monitoring, hand devices, and sound feedback. In this paper, architecture outlined, programmer's view described, simple applications are described.
