摘要: The study of zinc sulfide single crystals, prepared by a vapor phase reaction method and doped with various amounts impurities, has been made concerning optical transmission, photoconductivity, luminescence, thermal quenching infrared quenching. crystals grown through the bromine process show blue while these when further copper 1×10 -6 ∼1×10 -4 -3 g atom per mol, emit green luminescence dark one respectively. Based on experimental results, models centers have proposed. It is concluded that emission due to recombinations nearly free trapped electrons holes, transitions valence band or levels near band.
