摘要: For high school community service programs to have a positive impact on subsequent civic engagement, students must volunteer in sustained manner and evaluate their volunteering experiences positively. Using survey with 1,293 respondents 100 semistructured interviews past participants of the mandatory program implemented by Ontario provincial government 1999, authors identify how why generate evaluations requirements whether diversity implementation or nature might account for negative reactions volunteering.
