摘要: Decreases in body weight were observed following unilateral lesions the area of lateral hypothalamus (LHA). Removal contralateral LHA, 30 days after initial operation, did not result a similar pattern loss. In contrast to animals with sequential lesions, rats simultaneous, bilateral damage lost significantly more weight. The results indicate that serial lesion phenomenon is destruction brainstem areas thought have regulatory function.
