摘要: Copper mining in Tongling has occurred since the Bronze Age, and this area is known as one of first historic places where copper been, currently, extracted. Multiple studies have demonstrated, through concentrated work on soils waters, impact area. Here we present isotope values 13 ore samples, three tailing 20 water samples (surface groundwater), 94 soil (15 different profiles ranging depth from 0⁻2 m) proximal to distal (up 10 km) locations radiating a tailings dam pile. Oxidation sulfide minerals results isotopically heavier oxidized copper. Thus, sourced been used trace environmental applications. At Tongling, higher (greater than 1 per mil, which are interpreted be derived weathering) found both waters upper portions (5⁻100 cm) within km source tailings. greater km, do not possess values; however, stream that low concentrations up 6.5 source. The data suggest activities remains relatively but can traced at distances.
