摘要: Abstract This work reports the production of WC-10 wt%Ni nanostructured powders synthesized via carboreduction a mixture APT and low-temperature nickel nitrate with short reaction time in single synthesis process. The were characterized by XRD, TG/DSC, SEM, EDS, TEM particle size analysis. consolidated Spark Plasma Sintering process at different temperatures (1350 °C 1450 °C). effect sintering temperature on mechanical properties microstructure sintered composites was investigated through Vickers hardness density measurements, as well SEM EDS analyzes. produced presented an average crystallite 24 nm for WC 41 nm Ni. samples 1350 °C showed best results terms morphology (2120 HV) (97.67%) when compared to 1450 °C which 945 HV 94.60%. preparation nanocomposite is highly promising strategy manufacturing hard metals SPS, ensuring homogeneity phases refined grain sizes, providing good densification excellent WC-Ni hardness.
